Scarecrow Competition

Winners revealed at Wednesday's Show

The winners of the 2006 Scarecrow Competition were announced at a special prize giving at the Royal New Zealand Show on Wednesday 15 November, much to the delight of the crowd of school groups who converged on the Tip Top Family Lawn for the ceremony. The competition was open to all Canterbury Pre, Primary and Intermediate Schools. All Scarecrows were on display at the Royal New Zealand Show, 15-17 November.

3rd – Maori Early Childhood Centre "Hakoro"

1st – St Annes Catholic School, Woolston "Mighty Mike"
2nd – Allenvale School "Mahina"
