Membership

The Canterbury A&P Association is a membership based organisation.

Membership is open to anyone interested in furthering the progress of agriculture in Canterbury. Members are entitled to exclusive privileges at the Show and Canterbury A&P Association events held throughout the year.

Association Membership
There are a range of membership categories, with different fees applying, to suit individual circumstances.Annual membership fees are due by 31 March each year (NB: 2013 subscription invoices will be forwarded in April).

Family Annual Member $95: 3 Swingers each allowing 1 Adult Member or 2 School Children admission each Show day.

Corporate & Stud Annual Member $95: 3 Swingers each allowing 1 Adult Member admission each Show day.

Individual Annual Member $55: 1 Swinger allowing 1 Adult Member admission each Show day.

Junior Exhibitor Annual Member $30: 1 Swinger allowing 1 Junior Exhibitor Member admission each Show day.

Priority car parking at the Show.
Regular newsletters to keep up to date with what's happening.
Access to the Members' Marquee and Grandstand overlooking the Main Arena during the Show, exclusively for Members.
Invitation to the President's Cocktail Party.
Discounted livestock and equestrian exhibitor fees.
Reduced price on admission tickets for Member's guests.
Prioirty booking for other Canterbury A&P Association events.
Access to exclusive Member promotions during the year.
Voting rights and invitation to attend the Annual General Meeting.

Plus the opportunity to meet people of similar interests. 

Friend of the Show
The Canterbury A&P Association is opening up membership to Christchurch residents with the introduction of a Friend of the Show membership category. Options available include - 

Individual $35: An Individual Friend of the Show receives 2 x one day adult tickets (valued at $52), valid for any day of the Canterbury A&P Show (the year of the membership), plus a priority car parking pass.  

Family $45: A Family Friend of the Show receives 1 x one day family pass which is valid for 2 adults and up to 3 school aged children (valued at $55), valid for any day of the Canterbury A&P Show (the year of the membership), plus a priority car parking pass.

To apply for a Friend of the Show membership, download the form below and return with payment to the Canterbury A&P Association. Memberships with payment will only be accepted prior to the Canterbury A&P Show.  

Life Membership
For a one off fee you will continue to receive the exclusive privileges of Association membership for years to come. Two categories are available -

Full Life Member $1500: A Full Life Member receives 3 x three day adult tickets annually, plus all of the other benefits of membership. Adult ticket can also be used for 2 School Children.

Individual Life Member $1000: An Individual Life Member receives 1 x three day adult ticket annually, plus all of the other benefits of membership.
