Membership

The Canterbury A&P Association is a membership based organisation.

Membership is open to anyone interested in furthering the progress of agriculture in Canterbury. Members are entitled to exclusive privileges at the Show and Canterbury A&P Association events held throughout the year.

There is a range of membership categories, with different fees applying, to suit individual circumstances.

Annual membership fees are due by 31 March each year.

Regular newsletters to keep up to date with what's happening.
Access to the Members' Marquee and Grandstand overlooking the StableMate Arena during the Show, exclusively for Members.

Reduced price on admission tickets for Member's guests.
Prioirty booking for other Canterbury A&P Association events.
Access to exclusive Member promotions during the year.

The Association has 3029 members as at March 2010.

There has been significant reorganisation of the management, culture, facilities and position of the Association over the last eight years. These changes mean that this is an exciting time for the Canterbury A&P Association. The A&P Committee, the Board and the event management team are working hard to build on the annual Show's reputation as an important rural icon in New Zealand's calendar.

Whether you are interested in being a Junior Exhibitor Member, a Full Life Member or a Corporate Member the Association encourages you to establish, or re-establish your support of and involvement with the Canterbury A&P Association.

Canterbury Jockey Club
The Canterbury Jockey Club is the number one South Island Racing Club. Membership of the club offers many privileges including Members tickets for the Racing Season, entrance tickets to all Riccarton Park race meetings, use of the Members’ facilities, Members’ car parking plus much more.
