Patrons Programme



The Canterbury A&P Association has a proud history of promoting excellence in agriculture and bringing the country to town through the largest and most successful A&P Show in New Zealand.

In 2012 the Canterbury A&P Association will celebrate its 150th Show. This is a significant milestone for the Association, the showing movement and for Canterbury. 
 
The 150th Show will be celebrated through events, activities and projects targeted at showcasing all that Canterbury has to offer whilst also creating legacy projects that will have long term benefits for showing and the local community.

For the 150th we have developed a Patrons Programme to give our loyal supporters the opportunity to be part of this exciting year for the Canterbury A&P Association and the Show. As a long time Show supporter we invite you to join us in celebrating the Association’s history.

Please find below details outlining the various options for support and the attractive package of benefits available to Patrons.  The initiatives so far include the restoration of our only heritage building; the Treasurers Hut, the publication of a commemorative book titled ‘When Country Comes to Town – the history of the Canterbury A&P Association’, and commemorative whisky to name a few.

As a not-for-profit organisation the Canterbury A&P Association relies on support from members, exhibitors and sponsors.
