Note that by entering into this confirmation we take this as acceptance that you understand that any prize money paid by CAPA to you, may depending on the amount and your individual circumstances, be regarded as income by the Inland Revenue in New Zealand and therefore subject to the payment of income tax.  It is your responsibility to take independent advice on this and to make such payment where required.  CAPA accepts no responsibility for the payment of any income tax obligations that may or may not arise from the payment of any such prize money to you.
The Association records its grateful thanks to SGS Wool Testing Services for undertaking the wool tests at no cost to the exhibitor or the Association. Conditions:
W.1: Fleeces are to be delivered to PGG Wrightson Ltd (Christchurch) by 12pm WEDNESDAY 1ST NOVEMBER  for testing. Your fleeces can be collected from Ashburton or Amberley A&P Shows if necessary - please advise the Canterbury A&P Secretary, or the Ashburton and Amberley Wool Convenors.
W.2: Fleeces may not be removed from the Wool & Fibre Marquee before 6pm on Friday of the Show unless prior permission has been obtained from the Head Steward.
W.3: Any exhibitor wishing to donate their fleece to the Canterbury A&P Association can advise the Steward. In the absence of any forwarding instructions, fleeces not claimed by 12 noon MONDAY following the Show will become the property of the Canterbury A&P Association.
W.4: Entries in the Flock Section must be from unregistered sheep. Fleeces may be entered in one section only.
W.5: All fleeces must be skirted to the highest commercial standards and must be of a normal season's growth. Up to three entries in each class are accepted from each exhibitor.
W.6: Each fleece must be contained in its own bag or sheet properly labelled with the exhibitor's name and address and the Class Number. W.7: There will be no Maximum Greasy Weight.
W.8: Name of Breed to be stated on entry form.
W.9: Fleeces can be transferred between classes at judge’s discretion
W.10: Wool entries will not be listed in the Catalogue but will be posted in the Wool & Fibre Marquee. W.11: All fleeces and trophies must remain on display within their sections for the entire Show.
W.12: Presentations to be held at 12pm Thursday 16 November- all prize winners are expected to attend.
