The Canterbury A&P Show is all about presenting new ideas, technologies and innovations for rural and urban buyers with close to 600 trade exhibitors displaying the latest in agricultural products and services all in the one location. The Show consistently attracts100,000 visitors, with indoor and outdoor exhibits, showcasing the very best of New Zealand farming and rural life, combined with top entertainment and attractions. Hosted by the Canterbury A&P Association, the Canterbury A&P Show is the premier agricultural event in the country, drawing the largest audience of any single event in the South Island as well as being the largest A&P Show in the country.

Showgrounds Canterbury Agricultural Park, the home of the Canterbury A&P Show, is located in the south-west of Christchurch, alongside the recently upgraded Southern Motorway. The Park is a 128 hectare, purpose built Show facility situated 10 kilometres from Christchurch International Airport. Due to the increasing popularity of the Show and plans for expansion, the Canterbury A&P Show moved to the new Showgrounds in 1997.
During Showtime the public can access the Showgrounds by a special, direct bus service. There is also ample free parking available for Show visitors including a free car park shuttle service to the turnstiles.
Site Options Site options include themed feature pavilions and outdoor locations for the effective promotion of your products/services. New and continually improving feature pavilions are testament to industry and public demand. A detailed description of the various site options is included in the Trade Exhibitors Information Pack.
Booking Your Site Complete the trade application form in the Trade Exhibitors Information Pack and send with your deposit of $300 (incl GST) by cheque or direct credit to the Canterbury A&P Association.
Once the deposit is received and your site is allocated, you will be invoiced for the balance of your site fee. To receive the 10% earlybird discount, the total site fee must be received by the Canterbury A&P Association by 5pm Thursday 20 September 2012.
2011 Exhibitors wanting to secure the same site must book by Friday 18 May 2012. 2011 Exhibitors wanting a new site or new Exhibitors will be processed in June and offered vacant sites based on the date of receipt of applications. Applications for new sites will be processed in a ‘first come, first served’ basis.
