The Aotearoa Regional Wine Competition (formerly known as the New Zealand Aromatic Wine Competition) is back and in its 19th year. We now accept all wine types, including non-aromatic varieties and organic wines. Additionally, we will be adding a ‘regional’ category to our Competition. Wine regions include Auckland (including Waiheke Island and Northland), Gisbourne, Hawkes Bay, Wairarapa, Marlborough, Tasman (including Nelson), Canterbury and Otago.
This competition is held in conjunction with the New Zealand Agricultural Show, New Zealand’s largest Agricultural and Pastoral Show.
