Accessibility Needs
Special viewing areas are available around the Main Arena and in the Shearing Pavilion. Disabled toilets can be found in the Trade & Feature Pavilion and the Livestock Pavilion; refer to the Showgrounds Map. There is disabled parking available at all entrances; please display your mobility parking permit (CCS issued) and marshalls will direct you to the designated area. Please note that disabled parking is limited, there is parking available via the Curletts Road entrance where a valid mobility parking pass must be displayed. Extra disability parking is available via the Augustine Drive
Animals
Only guide dogs are permitted on the Showgrounds during the New Zealand Agricultural Show.
Bag Check
Diabetes Christchurch is running a bag and coat check in the Vero Livestock Pavilion. Cost is $2.
EFTPOS
EFTPOS facilities for cash out are located at the Treasurer’s Hut Information Office on the corner of the Village Green ($3 transaction fee applies).
First Aid
St Johns is located in Jenkins Lane by the Main Arena, outside the Show Office on the Village Green and the Isaac 1 Arena. Refer to the Showgrounds Map. In an emergency dial 111 to activate assistance.
Lost Children
The Lost Children Tent, manned by the Christchurch Parents Centre, is located beside the Show Office on MacKenzie Drive.
Lost Property
All reports of theft and lost property can be made at the Show Office, located on the corner of Deans Avenue and MacKenzie Drive.
Bayleys Members’ Marquee
Located off Gunn Lane, the Bayleys Members’ Marquee includes covered grandstand seating overlooking the Main Arena. Entry is for Canterbury A&P Association Members and International Visitor ticket holders only. Become a Member of the Canterbury A&P Association today.

Opening Hours
The 2018 New Zealand Agricultural Show will be held Wednesday 14, Thursday 15 and Friday 16 November. The Show will be open from 8.00am to 5.30pm each day. Click here to buy tickets today!
Parents Centre
The Christchurch Parents Centre offers baby changing and feeding facilities and is located within the Lost Children Tent, beside the Show Office on MacKenzie Drive.

Show Safety
Please abide by the safety rules and signage at the Showgrounds. Follow instructions from Marshals and Show Officials. Parents please ensure that children do not enter livestock pens or enclosures. Do not poke, hit or irritate animals. Please ensure that you and children in your care do not stand behind horses, cows or bulls – they may not see you there. If visiting the Show with small children we suggest you write your cellphone number on their arm. Should they become separated from you; staff can then easily notify you. The roads within the Showgrounds are open for emergency and Show vehicles and horses, cattle and other livestock, particularly around the Main Arena and The ANZ Lawn. Please be aware of vehicular and animal traffic around the Showgrounds particularly if you have children in your care.
Showgrounds Map
Map and exhibitor information boards are located at the corner of Northcote Drive and Macfarlane Avenue, on the corner of Deans Avenue and MacKenzie Drive and on the corner of Grigg Avenue and Francis Street. Click here to see a Showgrounds Map.
Shuttle Service
Internal shuttles throughout the Showgrounds are free on all three days. There is a reduced operation on Friday due to crowds. Click here to see a Showgrounds Map for the shuttle circuit. A free shuttle bus also runs from the public car park to the Lake Turnstiles.
Taxis
There are Blue Star Taxi stands at the River Turnstiles entrance and within the Showgrounds between The ANZ Lawn and Carnival Area. The official taxi company for the New Zealand Agricultural Show is Blue Star Taxis, phone 03 379 9799.
