The Royal A&P Show of New Zealand Returns to the Canterbury A&P Association for 2025!

For the first time in over a decade, the prestigious Royal Agricultural and Pastoral Show of New Zealand returns to Canterbury and we’re proud to be hosts of the event as part of our 162nd Show this November!

 

Canterbury first held a Royal A&P Show in 1925, with the last hosted in 2010 and its return marks a major milestone. Hosting a Royal Show is the pinnacle of the showing calendar, offering exhibitors and competitors from across the country the opportunity to compete at a national level.

In partnership with the Royal Agricultural Society of New Zealand, this year’s show will take place from Thursday 13 – Saturday 15 November.​ With over $100,000 in prize money, royal ribbons and rosettes, and the opportunity to compete alongside the country’s best, the Canterbury hosted Royal A&P Show promises to be a landmark event for exhibitors, competitors, and rural communities alike.
