Where can I find lost property after The Show?

Lost property from the New Zealand Agricultural Show is located at the Show Office in the Canterbury Agricultural Park, 102 Curletts Road. Items can be collected between 8am and 5pm Monday to Friday until the 30th of November. If items have not been claimed by the 30th of November, they will be given to the Hornby Police Station.

How do I get to The Show?

By Car

Public parking during the New Zealand Agricultural Show is free. Parking is available via the Augustine Drive entrance, McMahon Drive entrance, Wigram 3 Underpass entrance and Curletts Road entrance. Please note: a valid parking pass must be displayed to enter via Curletts Road entrance.
By Bike
There are spaces available to lock your bikes up at the Lake Turnstiles and River Turnstile entrances. Just make sure to bring a padlock to secure your bike.
By Bus
On Wednesday 9th & Thursday 10th the O (Orange Line) will run approximately every 15 minutes from the Bus Interchange. On Friday 11th November the bus will run to the Saturday timetable. The closest bus stop to The Show is at the Halswell Shops. For more information visit www.metroinfo.co.nz. Ritchies Coach & Busses are also running a free service from the Bus Interchange. These run half hourly from 9.30am each day of The Show (last bus departs the Show at 4.30pm).

By Taxi
The official taxi company for the New Zealand Agricultural Show is Blue Star Taxis. There are taxi stands located inside Canterbury Agricultural Park - next to the Cattle Lawn and at the River Turnstiles. Call 03 379 9799 to book a Blue Star Taxi.
Disabled Parking
Disabled parking can be found at the Curletts Road entry. Please note a valid mobility pass is required to access the disabled parking areas. For more information about disabled parking access contact logistics@theshow.co.nz.

 

When does The Show open?

From 6:30am for Exhibitors

From 8:00am for General Public

Can I bring my pet to The Show?

No, only guide dogs are permitted at the New Zealand Agricultural Show.

Where can we eat at The Show?

With The Show being situated on a 130ha section, there's plenty of places to sit down and eat, whether that's siting on the Arenas edge at the centre of the action, relaxing on the Village Green or sitting in a nice secluded spot underneath the trees.

Can I bring a picnic to The Show?

Yes you are welcome to bring your own picnic to enjoy. However we don't allow alcohol to be brought into the site. 

Where are the ATM's located at The Show?

ATM cash out facilities are located in the Treasurers Hut on the Nestlé Village Green (Corner of MacKenzie Drive & Deans Ave) and beside the Retail Pavilion (Corner of Northcote Drive & Macfarlane Avenue). Due to demand, we recommend you bring cash to avoid delays.

Where is the information booth located?

The Public Information Centre is located on the Corner of MacKenzie Drive and Deans Avenue. 

Where can I purchase my Show tickets?

Tickets can be purchased online at https://theshow.flicket.co.nz. Or you can buy them at the gate when entering The Show.

Where is Lost Property located?

All reports of Lost Property can be made at the Public Information Centre on the Corner of Deans Avenue and MacKenzie Drive or to the Community Patrols Team opposite the Public Information Centre.

Where can I find first aid assistance?

St Johns is located in Jenkins Lane beside the Main Arena and on the Nestlé Village Green. In an emergency dial 111.
